The town left scared by badly behaved youths now ‘rocked’ by a teen’s stabbing
Gorseinon town has been “rocked to the core” following a serious stabbing leaving a 14-year-old boy in a critical condition in hospital.
The area is no stranger to anti-social behaviour but events this week have left people living and working there in “disbelief”.

A483 in north Wales closed due to ‘ongoing incident’
A section of the A483 in north Wales is currently shut due to an incident.
The southbound carriageway is closed between the Belgrave junction and the Northbound carriageway at Junction 7.
North Wales Police are at the scene, and have asked motorists to avoid the area.
According to Traffic Wales, the closure is due to an animal on the carriageway.

Woman found dead at Swansea house after neighbour called police
A 62-year-old woman has been found dead at a property in Swansea.
Concern was raised for the welfare of a woman in Peniel Green Road, Llansamlet, at around 5.30pm on Thursday, February 10.
A spokeswoman for South Wales Police said:
South Wales Police was called yesterday, Thursday, February 11, around 5.30pm following reports of concern for a neighbour at premises in Peniel Green Road. Emergency services attended and discovered a 62-year-old woman had died. At this time there doesn’t appear to be any suspicious circumstances however officers are keeping an open mind. The woman has not yet been formally identified and next of kin have yet to be informed.
