The Barefoot Bandit mark their return with new single, ‘Purple Paradise’.
Fusing together dub and reggae with pop, the Southwest UK outfit deliver a warm, bouncy offering. Transporting listeners to a remote island ‘Purple Paradise’ echoes frontman Laurie’s travels across Thailand, evoking the landscape’s natural, transformative beauty. Integrating Schneice Mcmenamin‘s fluttering vocal, the buzzy ensemble reinforce their strengths as a collaborative network.
Following the success of their debut album ‘Hello Welcome’, released in 2022, The Barefoot Bandit continue to cultivate their bearing as electric live performers. Having graced crowds at Glastonbury and Camp Bestival, the collective continue empower and uplift with inviting stage shows and anthems that seek to unite listeners.
Speaking on their latest release, the band shares: “‘Purple Paradise’ is a celebration of escapism, reminding us of the beauty in stepping away from everyday life to recover, reflect, and explore.
