Mike Tindall has shared a new loved-up snap with Zara as they mark a holiday first in Australia. The couple, who take regular trips Down Under, have taken their second holiday there of the year.

The American president who is a big fan of the Royal Family will become only the second head of state to receive two invitations to the UK, following French President Raymond Poincaré, who was hosted in 1913 and 1919. King Charles is set to host Donald Trump at Windsor Castle between September 17-19.

Between these days in September, Parliament is not in session, meaning that the president will be denied the opportunity to deliver an address to the House of Commons and House of Lords at Westminster. The US president told the BBC there is no need to recall MPs and said “let them go and have a good time” instead.

Prince Harry had a difficult realisation on his solo trip without Meghan Markle, claimed royal expert Jennie Bond. The 40-year-old travelled to Angola as a patron of landmine clearance charity the Halo Trust.

During his visit, Harry spoke to families in a remote village near Africa’s largest minefield while there. Although her husband made the visit, Meghan made the decision to remain at home in California with their children, Archie, 6, and Lilibet, 4.

The visit, according to Ms Bond, marks a change from the type of work that Harry was pursuing when he first stepped down from royal duties in 2020.

Friends of the Duchess of Sussex have confirmed they were the recipients of the birthday presents that sparked confusion on social media. Meghan Markle posted a video of a box of As Ever rosé wine on her Instagram page, and an additional box of wine was adorned with flowers and peaches.

Alongside the video, Meghan posted the cryptic message: “Sending birthday love (both near and far) to my ladies.” At the time, it was unclear who she was sending the wine to, but the video was posted as a new image of the Queen was shared to mark her 78th birthday.

In celebration of Princess Anne’s 75th birthday and her “remarkable lifetime of service”, a commemorative £5 coin in her honour, will be available to buy. The Royal Mint’s commemorative £5 piece, dubbed its “Anne-iversary coin”, was personally approved by the Princess Royal and will be unveiled in celebration of Anne’s 75th birthday on August 15.

The coin features a portrait of the King’s sister wearing the Aquamarine Pineflower Tiara with her hair swept up in her signature bouffant style. The inscription on the coin reads, “The Princess Royal – Celebrating 75 Years – Duty and Devotion”, in reference to her royal duty over the decades.

Prince Harry’s reception at the British Embassy in Angola could be an indication of a possible thaw in relations between the Sussexes and the British state, a royal commentator has said.

Although he is now a private citizen and holds no official role within the monarchy, the decision to host him has raised questions.

Richard Palmer noted that Harry “no longer represents the monarchy or the UK” — yet was still given formal diplomatic recognition. Posting on X. he said: “Prince Harry is a private citizen. He no longer represents the monarchy or the UK but the British Embassy gave him a reception in Angola. Is this a sign of thawing between the Sussexes and the British state?” Speaking to GB News, Mr Palmer said while not an official endorsement, the embassy’s involvement hinted at an openness to rebuilding fractured ties. It comes amid ongoing speculation about whether Harry is seeking a way back into the royal fold.
