Ronda Rousey hasn’t contended in blended martial arts consideringthat she lost a champion battle to Amanda Nunes at UFC 207 in December2016 But she justrecently exposed that there’s one challenger who can pull her out of retirement.
“There’s just one individual … there’s just one individual I would come back for,” Rousey stated on an episode of The Kurt Angle Show (h/t USA Today‘s Farah Hannoun) “I suggest, I’ve stated it a million times. It’s not like it’s something brand-new. [I’d come back] for Gina, male—Gina Carano.”
One of the leaders of ladies’s MMA, Carano puttogether a 7-1 record while completing for EliteXC and Strikeforce from 2006 to2009 She hasn’t completed giventhat losing to Cris Cyborg in a battle that identified Strikeforce’s first-ever females’s champ at 145 pounds.
Rousey, who is the present WWE SmackDown females’s champ, is one of the most popular MMA fighters of all time. She went 12-2 while contending for Strikeforce and the UFC.
