Rian Johnson has exposed the extremely expected followup to Knives Out will be called Glass Onion.
Announcing the news online, the director paid homage to the work of investigator author Agatha Christie and stated he hoped to “emulate” her with his movies.
Daniel Craig is due to reprise his function as suave investigator Benoit Blanc for the followup, which will see his character travel to Greece to peel back the layers of a secret including a brand-new cast of vibrant suspects.
Craig appears togetherwith an all-star cast consistingof Edward Norton, Janelle Monae, Dave Bautista, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr and Kate Hudson.
Revealing the title on Twitter, Johnson composed: “Something I love about Agatha Christie is how she neverever tread water artistically.
“I think there’s a misperception that her books usage the exactsame formula over and over, however fans understand the opposite is real.
“It wasn’t simply settings or murder approaches, she was continuously extending the genre conceptually.
