Drivers in and around Oxfordshire will have dozens of road closures to watch out for this week.
The following list has been provided by National Highways, so it concerns motorways and major A-roads.
The closure of smaller roads is not included.

The closures have been divided into the four regions of Oxfordshire.
Oxford
There are two closures already in place that are expected to continue this week.
• A34, from 8pm January 11 to 6am March 18, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions Peartree to Botley, carriageway and lane closures for structures maintenance, diversion via local authority network.
• A34, from 6am August 1, 2022, to 11.59pm September 30 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 northbound and southbound, Peartree Interchange, Lane closures on the exit slips for Oxfordshire County Council works.
There is one closure which will begin over the next seven days:
• A34, from 8pm March 13 to 6am March 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): A34 both directions Botley, carriageway closure between the slip roads for structures maintenance, diversion via National Highways network.
South Oxfordshire
There is one closure already in place that is expected to carry on into this week:
• M4, from 8pm October 31 2022 to 6am March 17 2023, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 12 to junction 11, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

Nine further closures are scheduled to begin over the next seven days:
• M40, from 9pm March 18 to 5am March 19, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 6 to junction 5, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 8pm March 19 to 6am March 20, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9.30pm March 21 to 6am March 22, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 7 to junction 8a, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 9pm March 22 to 5am March 24, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 7 to junction 8, Lane closures for maintenance works.
• M40, from 9pm March 24 to 5am March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 9 to junction 8, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9.30pm March 24 to 6am March 25, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 9.30pm March 24 to 6am March 28, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 7 to junction 6, Lane closures for maintenance work.
• M40, from 9.30pm March 24 to 6am March 25, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 northbound, junction 6 to junction 7, Lane closure for maintenance works.
• M40, from 9pm March 27 to 5am March 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M40 southbound, junction 8, Lane closure for maintenance work.
Cherwell
There are 22 National Highways road closures to watch out for this week in and around Cherwell.
Three closures are already in place:
• A34, from 8pm March 10 to 6am March 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Islip, slip road and lane closures for signage repairs, diversion via National Highways network.

• A34, from 8pm February 13 to 6am April 29, slight delays (under 10 minutes): A34 southbound, Weston on the Green, Lane closures for drainage work.
