Warp Records artist Mira Calix has passedaway.
The South African born manufacturer endedupbeing one of the veryfirst female artists to indication to Warp Records.
A consistent radical, her brochure continuously asked concerns, both of herself and her audience.
Mira Calix returned in 2021, launching her album ‘Absent Origin’ winning throughout the board appreciation.
Clash spoke to the electronic artist, penetrating the Warp brochure through the lens of a woman innovator.
Breaking the news of her death, Warp applauded a “beautiful, caring human who touched the lives of everybody who has the honour of working with her…”
Calling her a “truly special” artist, Warp state “she will be extremely missedouton by everybody at the label, personnel and artists alike.”
