Martin Courtney hasactually shared his biting brand-new single ‘Sailboat’.

The tune takes the songwriter’s work in a more positive vein, a downing indie rocker with a particular early 00s flavour.

An effort to shrug off apathy and grapple with optimism, ‘Sailboat’ boasts effective drums from the Walkmen’s drummer Matt Barrick.

Flecked with dreamy indie pop tune, ‘Sailboat’ is a great example of his songwriting. Martin Courtney remarks…

“For some factor I constantly presumed I did not have a ‘license to rock’. This tune is my effort at some unlicensed rocking. I was incredibly lucky to have Matt Barrick, who drummed on the biggest rock tune of the 2000s, ‘The Rat’, on this one. Couldn’t haveactually done it any other method. Lyrically this tune is kind of about keeping things in pointofview and trying to stay favorable in the face of all of the bullshit. An progressively challenging job. And I simply idea ‘Sailboat’ was a amusing name.”

Tune in now.
