Disruption on services between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport and Reading are now expected to be affected until the end of the day.
In a statement on its website, National Rail said: “Following the emergency services dealing with an earlier incident in the Southall area, all lines have now reopened and trains are returning to normal.
“As services recover, trains running between London Paddington and Heathrow Airport / Reading may still be cancelled, delayed by up to 15 minutes or revised.
“Disruption is expected until the end of the day.”

National Rail have issued a further update on the disruption hitting passengers on the Heathrow Express, Elizabeth line and Great Western Railway.
It has said disruption will now continue until at least 8pm.

No service between Willesden Junction and Watford Junction.
