Little Simz has shared her new song ‘Young’.
The London rap luminary has won every award in the game, from an emotional BRIT Award triumph with her mum at her side, to that fantastic Mercury win.
New album ‘Lotus’ finds Simz switching it up once more, etching out a fresh era, and exploring different characters in the process.
Take new single ‘Young’. A rapper known for her often intense, multi-faceted approach, this time round she aims herself towards the light. Little Simz comments…
“I was able to tap into a character. That was fun for me. It’s just a moment of light heartedness.”
Tapping into a punk-like spirit, Simbi’s old sparring partner Dave Meyers returns to direct the video.
‘Lotus’ will be released on June 6th.
