Michael van Gerwen crashed out at the quarter-final stage against Peter Wright – who burst into TEARS after a brilliant win took him to the the semi-final after a tough season.
Littler thrashed Irishman Dylan Slevin 6-0 to go through to the last 16, then beat Ryan Searle before a tight 6-5 win agsainst Damon Heta, having been trailing 5-3.
