Prague, October 21, 2025 — FXEmpire attended Trustless by Design, Trezor’s launch event in Prague, where the hardware wallet pioneer revealed the Trezor Safe 7. About 200 guests from crypto exchanges, wallet providers, Web3 startups, and media gathered to see what Trezor called “a new standard for open, quantum-ready security.”
A Milestone for Self-Custody
Trezor, the creator of the first hardware wallet in 2013, presented Safe 7 as a major step forward in digital self-custody. CEO Matěj Žák said the launch comes at a time when many users are turning to custodians and ETFs:
“It’s more important than ever to reinforce what self-custody really means – full control without compromise. Trezor Safe 7 reflects everything we stand for: transparency, usability, and long-term trust.”
