Evan Rachel Wood felt “publicly gaslit” after coming forward with sexual abuse accusations versus her previous partner Marilyn Manson.
The Westworld starlet declared in February 2021 that the artist hadactually been mentally, physically, and sexually violent throughout their relationship, which lasted from 2006 upuntil 2010, and she talkedabout her claims in information in the 2022 documentary Phoenix Rising.

“I sit here understanding I’m not lying, understanding I’m informing the fact, however individuals make you feel insane,” she continued. “So I have to sit there and practicemeditation and go through the things that have occurred to me and go, ‘Did this takeplace to you? Yes. Did this occur? Yes.’ And I go through the information and replay them in my head simply so no one can take my reality away from me, duetothefactthat they attempt, they truly attempt to break you down.”
Manson, genuine name Brian Warner, has consistently rejected all claims of sexual abuse. In March, he submitted a libel claim versus Wood and her partner Ilma Gore, declaring they have “publicly cast” him as a “rapist and abuser”.
Discussing the suit on The View quickly after the submitting, the 34-year-old stated she was “not afraid” and “steady as a rock” since she has “the fact on my side”.
