Charli xcx has confirmed the cast for upcoming drama film The Moment.
The ever-creative British star was in the press recently, with Taylor Swift’s ‘Actually Romantic’ seeming to be a less-than-charitable diss track.
A studio clip on Charli’s socials seemed to suggest she was working on new material, but first she’s got the small matter of a cinematic feature to develop.
The Moment lands next year, constructed in co-operation with A24. Directed by Aidan Zamiri, and written by Aidan Zamiri and Bertie Brandes, it’s powered by an original idea from Charli herself.
According to the blurb: “A rising pop star navigates the complexities of fame and industry pressure while preparing for her arena tour debut.”
