17-year-old Cathy Jain is back with brand-new music.

Her mostcurrent single, ‘UFO’, dropped on April 8th and is off her 2nd EP setup to be launched lateron this year.

Produced by Jack Hardman and Charlie Hugall, ‘UFO’ is a dreamlike dream, its mellow and stunning pace juxtaposing the painful lyrics about the end of the world as we understand it.

The small reverb produces an attractive aura of make-believe and possibility, articulating Jain’s distinct design and noise. “As the sky scorched up in flames, how might I forget you were neverever like the rest,” she dejectedly sings.

Speaking about her newest job:

“It’s expected to be rather animated! You understand when you’re with somebody, and you believe they’re somebody they’re not? And then, in the end, they betray you, and you understand they’re not going to be there for you? It’s made into this huge, apocalyptic alien intrusion story. It’s rather significant, actually.”

Cathy Jain is prepared to hit the phase when more following her live efficiency at Latitude Festival last year, her summertime calendar filled with celebrations and gigs.
