Brian May feels “so annoyed” by Taylor Hawkins’ death.
The 74-year-old Queen guitarplayer was great buddies with the late Foo Fighters drummer – who passed away on 25 December aged simply 50 – and confessed it “feels all incorrect” for the artist to have lost his life at such a fairly young age and there’s a part of him that hopes speaking about the disaster sufficient would bring his buddy back to life.
He stated: “Taylor wasn’t even my generation. I believe of him as a kid — verysame as I saw George Michael as a youngboy — to lose them feels all incorrect. It makes you feel so annoyed. It makes you feel like you desire to workout with death. It makes you feel like if you looked at it enough, if you talk about it enough, if you evaluate it enough then perhaps you can bring him back, however of course, that’s simply not the method it all works.”
Taylor was a big Queen fan, and Brian confessed he was “the finest pressagent for Queen ever”.

Speaking on the ‘Debatable’ program on SiriusXM, Brian stated: “Taylor was really close to [Queen], he’s been in my studio a coupleof of times. In my life, I talk to him frequently. I talked to him simply a week ago from when we lost him.
“We talk about things, talking about Dave [Grohl], about what life is like, his pleasures, aggravations, being in Foo Fighters.”
